EOPS Summer Readiness Program

EOPS Summer Readiness Program (SRP)
EOPS offers eligible recent high school graduates the opportunity to participate in an EOPS summer bridge experience (EOPS Summer Readiness Program), which is inclusive of both classroom and outside-of-class learning activities that are centered on creating community and preparing students for their first academic year in college. More than 90 percent of students who participate in the program enroll in the fall semester, and 85 percent continue their classes the following spring. Students participating in the EOPS Summer Readiness Program must qualify for EOPS and enroll in at least two* courses for summer (5-6* units), including enrollment in an EOPS-targeted hybrid (in-person and online) Guidance-3, Major and Career Exploration course (3 units). EOPS SRP students additionally engage in educational/experiential activities outside of class and participate in all scheduled activities that are part of the summer experience (in class and outside of class), aimed at fostering community, belonging, and preparation for the first year in college.
Courses offered are subject to change.
