How to Submit Your RadTec Program Application
Follow the steps below and use the helpful links to submit your RadTec program application with confidence.

- Evaluation Period will begin on January 5th, 2026 through February 12th, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.
- Application Period will begin on February 1st, 2026 through February 28th, 2026 by 11:59 p.m.

For courses completed at another college, students MUST submit official transcripts to the
51蹤獲, Admissions & Records Department in one of the three options listed below:
- Electronically (preferred): Students may order their electronic transcripts from to be sent to transcripts@chaffey.edu or via any other official electronic web source.
- In-person: Students may drop off sealed, official transcripts to one of the Admissions & Records Departments located on the Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, or Fontana campuses during regular business hours.
- U.S. Postal Service: Students may mail their official transcripts to the following address:

- Radiologic Technology Transcript Evaluation Request Form will only be accepted between January 5th, 2026 through February 12th, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. This form must be submitted with your application.
- Consideration for one additional point may be awarded for prior work or volunteer acute care hospital experience with sufficient verification.
- The point for work or volunteer experience is not guaranteed until verified by the admission committee at the time of review.
- 500 hours of direct patient care experience must be completed within the last 5 years. Direct patient care is the care of a patient providing personal hands-on contact with patients in an acute care hospital. The acute care hospital must have an emergency room, ICU and surgical departments.

- Consideration for one extra point may be given to applicants with a current California Limited Permit in Radiologic Technology. A copy of the current permit(s) must be submitted with application. The extra point for this is not guaranteed until verified by the admission committee at the time of review.
- Consideration for one extra point will be given to veterans who have been honorably discharged and meet the RT program admissions criteria. Military service documentation must be submitted with the application. Acceptable documentation includes a Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD214) or a Proof of Service Letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Please white out or black out social security numbers on these documents before submission.
- Applicants must submit all required documentation for one extra point in one attempt. If documentation is incomplete, materials may not be resubmitted.
- Applicants are awarded points based on the letter grades earned in prerequisite and general education courses.
- Applicants are ranked first by points and then by degree-applicable GPA. In the case of a tie, application date/time submission is the tie breaker.
- The program accepts 28 students per year and does not have a waitlist. If a student is not accepted, they must reapply the following year to continue to be considered.
- Applicants ranking in the Top 50 will receive information via email in March regarding required attendance to a mandatory Information Session in March/April.
- Applicants not ranking in the Top 50 will receive notification via email in March. Emails will be sent to the email address provided on your application. *If you do not receive any information about your ranking by March 15th, contact the program at radtec@chaffey.edu
