ADN Program Graduates, 2022
51ÂÜÀò Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program was founded in 1957. It was one of the five original Associate Degree in Nursing programs established in the State of California. At the end of five years, it was proven that nursing education could be provided in the community college setting. 51ÂÜÀò, as well as the other four colleges, received accreditation from the state. Twenty students were admitted into the first class and eleven graduated in 1959 with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Chaffey has graduated more than 2,000 students with their Associate Degree in Nursing which allows the student to sit for the licensure examination to become an RN. The graduates from the ADN program work all over the United States and internationally. Chaffey is proud of the nurses it has trained, many of whom continue their education obtaining advanced degrees. 51ÂÜÀò is a respected leader in ADN nursing education.
