If you’re new or returning to 51ÂÜÀò, here’s what you need to do to get started:

For New Students:

  • Complete the online
  • Receive your 51ÂÜÀò Student ID numbervia email (usually the same day)

For Returning Students:

  • Reactivate your student account, if needed, by updating your application.

Your 51ÂÜÀò ID number is important because it’s your key to accessing college services, registering for classes, and more!

For courses completed at another college, students MUST submit official transcripts to the

51ÂÜÀò, Admissions & Records Department in one of the three options listed below:

  • Electronically (preferred): Students may order their electronic transcripts from to be sent to transcripts@chaffey.edu or via any other official electronic web source.
  • In-person:Students may drop off sealed, official transcripts to one of the Admissions & Records Departments located on the Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, or Fontana campuses during regular business hours.
  • U.S. Postal Service:Students may mail their official transcripts to the following address:

Meeting with a counselor is a key step in preparing for the RadTec program. A counselor can help make sure you’re on the right track and fully prepared to apply.

A Counselor Can Help You:

  • Review your external transcripts(from other colleges).
  • Create or update your Educational Plan.
  • Make sure you're meeting RadTec program prerequisites and minimum GPA requirements.
  • Guide you through the RadTec application process.

How to Make an Appointment:

Visit the Academic and Career Counseling website to schedule a counseling session.

Before your counseling appointment, it’s important to review the RadTec program prerequisites so you know where you stand and what’s needed.

What Happens After You Complete Your Prerequisites:

  • If you're eligible to apply, your application will be reviewed using the RadTec Point Worksheet.
  • This tool helps rank applicants based on a point system in areas like:
  • Academic performance (e.g., coursework and degree applicable GPA).
  • Healthcare paid work experience or volunteer experience with 500 hours of direct patient care.
  • U.S. Veteran Status with honorable discharge.
