How to Submit Your ADN Program Application

Follow these steps to submit your nursing application with confidence.

  • Fall 2025 ADN Evaluation Period will begin on August 4th, 2025, through September 22nd, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
  • Fall 2025 ADN Application Period will begin on September 1st, 2025, through September 30th, 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
  • Spring 2026 ADN Evaluation Period will begin on February 17th, 2026, through March 25th, 2026, by 4:00 p.m.
  • Spring ADN Application Period will begin March 1st, 2026, through March 31st, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.
  • High school transcript or equivalent
  • College/University transcripts
  • Advanced Placement AP scores from

  • Applicants applying to the ADN program, LVN to RN Advanced Placement program and ADN-BSN CEP must complete the ADN Multicriteria Evaluation Request Form to apply.

Applications open:

  • September 1 – 30 for the spring term (starts in January)
  • March 1 – 31 for the fall term (starts in August)
  • CSUSB CEP Applicants: March 1 – 31 for the fall term (starts in August)
  • Applicants applying to the ADN program, LVN to RN Advanced Placement program and ADN-BSN CEP must submit their official ADN Multicriteria Evaluation form with their application.

It’s recommended to utilize resources on the website to prepare for the exam.

The exam is offered free to a limited number of the ADN Multi-Criteria Phase 1 ranked applicants as an invitation to move to Phase 2. The TEAS exam is conducted in a proctored computer lab on the 51ÂÜÀò campus. DPS accommodation is available. 

Phase 2 applicants must take the most current TEAS exam as part of the application requirements. Previous versions of the TEAS will not be considered for admission.

Applicants may use a current TEAS exam score if completed within one calendar year of the ADN application. The program only accepts the first passing score of 62% or higher.

  • Phase 1 applicants will be notified of their Phase 2 status via email by the second week or sooner of October during the fall application period and the second week or sooner in April during the spring application period.
  • If you do not receive information about your application status by these timelines, you may contact the ADN program for a status inquiry at ADN@chaffey.edu
  • Phase 2 applicants will be notified to complete the ATI TEAS 7 via e-mail notification within 10 business days after the close of the application period.
  • Students that have completed the ATI TEAS 7 and scored a 62% or higher within the prior twelve months before applying to the ADN Program must electronically send official results to the ADN Office.

Prior to beginning the program, students that are provisionally accepted and/or have been selected as alternates will be required to complete the following:

  • Attend a Pre-screening Session (in-person) to begin the health screening process.
  • Complete the health screening process, including all required vaccinations for clinical rotations.
  • Pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Obtain a current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification as an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider. The CPR card must be active during the full program.
  • More information regarding these screenings will be given at the mandatory ADN Pre-screening Session (in-person).
  • Dates and times for the mandatory ADN Pre-screening Session (in-person) will be given at the time of acceptance.
